Really Bad Art from Wonder Forge Review

We received a sample in exchange for a honest an unbiased review.

We were given an opportunity by Wonder Forge to review another of their games, Really Bad Art.

Really Bad Art can be played with 3-6 players, who are at least 12 yrs and older. There are two main components to this game. A deck of cards that is purple on one side and orange on the other side. These cards have a couple words or a phrase in both the purple and the orange area. The other component is a timer that is battery powered and can be set for six seconds.

Each round begins with players being dealt a card facedown. A player will decide if the round is going to be played reading the words from the purple half or the orange half.

The timer gets hit and players will hear 3 beeps, which is telling them to get prepared. The timer will then ding and the six seconds has begun. Each player needs to flip their card and read their words from the chosen round color, either the purple or orange side, and proceed to draw on a piece of paper, art that illustrates the words they were given on the cards.

When the buzzer goes off all pencils must go down. Someone will collect the cards that have remained facedown, while all players can see each others art works. The person collecting the cards will add a card from the deck and shuffle them, and they will then be placed in lettered slots underneath the board.

Every player has a set of colored lettered tokens. Players will put their tokens next to the "art" that they think will match the cards underneath the board. The lettered tokens are placed facedown. After every player has tried to identify each drawing, the tokens are flipped over for scoring.

The artist gets 1 point for every player who correctly matched their art to the words on the cards. This is repeated for every player. If a player reaches 30 points the round will be over. The player with the most points wins. If none of the players have reached 30 points deal another card and draw some more art.

This game is huge fun with some big laughs. You only get six seconds to draw your art. Chances are some players are going to have some funny looking art. This game is sold in Target for a very reasonable price. It would make a great gift for any teen to find under the tree.
