Stick Stack Game from Wonder Forge Reviiew

We received a sample in exchange for a honest and unbiased review,

Wonder Forge . has released Stick Stack this year, and we've had the opportunity to review this game.

Stick Stack is a simple and fun game of tilting tactics for 2 or more players, 8 years old and above. We have enjoyed playing this game with our kids. The object of this game is to stack the sticks without toppling the tower. Placing and stacking those sticks can get a little challenging at times, especially when also having to match colors but it is what puts the fun in this great game!

In this game you will find a tower constructed on a plastic base, a connected post with a larger hexagonal platform on top of that. Two sides of the hexagonal shape are green, red and orange. In the middle of the hexagonal shape is a smaller raised white platform. There are 36 multi-colored sticks that come stored inside of a draw- bag.

When a player takes his turn, he will draw a stick from the draw-bag and place it on the tower. If a player has random sticks in front of him from a previous round he can choose one of those instead of choosing a stick from the draw-bag. The stick must be placed on the tower so that the colored parts are touching matching colors of previously placed sticks or the colors on the platform. Players are not allowed to use their other hand to balance the tower or other sticks. The chosen stick may also not be used to intentionally move other sticks. It is acceptable if after placement the structure or sticks wobble, but if any of those sticks fall during or after turn player must collect all sticks and place them in front of themselves. They can choose to use these sticks at a later turn instead of choosing a stick from the draw-bag.

The game will end when either the tower topples over or there are no more sticks remaining in the dtaw-bag. Players will take score by scoring 1 point for each stick in front of them at the end of a round. Players will score 5 points if they caused the tower to topple over. If at the end of a round one player has 11 points or more the game is over. Place the sticks back inside the draw-bag and begin another round.
