Suspicions Game from Wonder Forge Review

We received a sample in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.

We had the opportunity as a family to review the game Suspicions from Wonder Forge .

Suspicion is played by 2-6 players, ages 10 +. In this game, players are 1 of 10 guests invited to a Masquerade Gala by Barone Whitetooth. To spice the game up all of the players are gem thieves. Everyone will be walking around the mansion trying to take what they can, while keeping their own identity a secret.

There are 12 rooms in the mansion, which is a perfect rectangle shape. Each room has one or two gems pictured in the center of the room, out of three possible types. A few of the rooms only have one gem, but most of them have two.

The 10 characters are placed randomly, one in every exterior room of the mansion. Every player picks an identity card from the deck of character cards. One of the goals during the game is for players to keep their identity a secret from the other players.

Each player will also be given a set of grey yes/no cards, these cards will be used to interrogate other players. The players are finally dealt two cards from the action deck of cards. Some gems of each color will be sat next to the board, how many gems will depend on the number of players. Every player will also get a deduction sheet.

Players take turns around the board until one of the three colored gems are no longer available. The first thing an active player does is roll the movement dice. Each of these dice has 5 different characters pictures and one Wild Side. Each designated character will be moved into an adjacent room from the room that they were in currently. There is not a limit to how many players can be in a room and one character may be moved twice in one turn.

The player will then choose two action cards from his hand and perform the actions. Each of the cards will have two actions and the player can choose to do them in either order. When the player completes the actions they will draw a new action card to bring his hand back up to the two cards.

Game includes:
