We received a sample in exchange for a honest an unbiased review.

We were recently sent The Guinness World Records collection to review.

I'm sure I've mentioned lately that my son loves to read about true facts, wether weird facts or not he likes reading about facts. He also likes reading about people making new world records. He's into all that. He has often heard me say "I know this because I read it." I'm real glad he likes to read.

The Guinness World Records Book is a hard cover record-breaking annual. It's full of incredible accomplishments, spectacular stunts, cutting-edge science and amazing sporting feats. You will discover hundreds of new photographs, stats and facts. This year there is a new celebration of the superlative with dazzling infographic features exploring the ultimate absolutes, such as the fastest, highest and heaviest. Does the longest sofa outstretch the longest train? Does the tallest Easter egg exceed the tallest snowman? The photographs in this book are bright and lovely. It is full of awe!!

Guinness World Records 2018 Gamer's Edition is another hard cover ultimate guide to gaming records. This is the 11th edition of the annual world's best selling videogames from global authority on the subject.

This high quality edition is crammed with the coolest stars, latest records and the biggest games. Inside the gamer's edition you’re going to find amazing stats, thrilling facts, inspirational tales, lightning-quick speed-runs and glamorous photos.

Read about the records behind your favorite games including Mario, Overwatch, FIFA, WWE and Rocket League, plus recap on a year of crazy Pok√©mon GO stories. You’ll also meet gaming heroes such as the world’s oldest games YouTuber at 81, a man with a real-life cyborg arm that was inspired by Deus Ex, and the kingpin of eSports fighting games.

This year there is a special chapter featuring superhero games. So, we’re celebrating with your favorite costumed crime-battlers. From Spider-Man’s web-crawling to Batman’s gadgetry, they’re just as powerful in pixels as they are in the movies.

Are you an animal lovers? If so then the Guinness World Records: Amazing Animals is the book for you. This is also a hardcover book that turns the spotlight on the most fur creatures, peculiar pets, cute critters and wacky wildlife. You will discover surfing pigs, heroic hounds and a bodacious bunny who plays basketball! Enjoy all these cool animal records, enjoy fun facts, never-before-seen photos, addictive activities – plus an introduction by a celebrity who gives Amazing Animals his official paw print of approval.

This collection of books is recommended by Moms To Grandma as being an excellent gifting choice this holiday season.
