Missing Mondays; Let Us Spread Awareness

We have been talking about adding another section to our blog called Missing Monday. This is where we would share information about people who have gone missing. These cases really touch my heart and I feel like they need as much exposure as we can give them.

As I prepare to share with you different cases I have read about or watched a documentary about there are a few things that stick with me. Some things that make me concerned for my own little ones.

In so many of these cases you will hear someone involved say "We didn't think this could happen in our area" "Things like this happen to other people" I think that while we can never foresee such things if more of us would realize that yes, it could happen in our towns, to a neighbor or even us maybe people would be just a bit more observant to what they hear and see.

I think about my own town. Its a small town. When we go for walks we often recognize many of the people we pass on the street. I write this blog post to remind you not to take this comfort for granted. Always be aware that bad things don't happen until bad things happen. Of course I understand that even awareness can't stop every bad occuranse but its a good start. It is a good place to start keeping our loved ones safe.

I can't even begin to imagine what it is like not knowing where my loved one is, how are they being treated? Are they still here on earth with us? I have a lot of information I would like to share with everyone. This blog post is just an introduction of sorts. I would very much like to hear your thoughts, do you think this is a good idea? Would you be interested in reading about this information?

Please place your thoughts for us below. Let's spread Awareness!!

Just recenrly Ive heard so much about human trafficing I really had no idea that was a problem around here but apparently its a huge problem even in a rural area where I live so I believe that your blog on missing people would be a great way to bring awareness to kidnapped and runaways and anybody whose missing!! 13. I used to watch TV shows and mysteries like this. Now they scare me, this is why I have a tracker on my daughters phones. It might seem weird but you never know what can happen. Thanks for sharing.

  15. I LOVE this idea!! When it comes to crimes and missing people there is no such thing as too much exposure! I have been following a case about a missing kid out of Portland, Oregon that went missing from his elementary school. I have this feeling he is alive and stuff like what you're doing is what helps bring these kids home to their families!

  16. This is a great idea. There are a good number of websites that have information about certain cases that need help being shared and it doesn't have to be a put out in the light in a bad way. I can also recommend the subreddit "r/unresolvedmysteries", the people there are always interested and willing to help.
