Missing Mondays: Tiffany Heaven Daniels

Tiffany Heaven Daniels

  • Disappeared from- Pensacola, Florida on August 12, 2013
  • She was born - March 11, 1988 in Dallas Texas
  • Height- 5ft 7in
  • Weight- 135 lb
  • Her age at the time she disappeared- 25 years old
  • Tattoos- on top of both of her feet she has tattoos of seedlings - it basically shows the growth from seedling to plant.

Tiffany was a Cedar technician at Pensacola State College in Pensacola, Florida. She was last seen leaving her job, she had told her supervisor she would not be returning for a few days. She did not say why. She returned home briefly afterwards, her roommate who was busy on the phone didn't get to see her. She has not been seen since. Since Tiffany had told her supervisor she was taking a few days off, she was not reported missing until the end of that week when she failed to return to work. Her family and friends were unaware of any plans she might have made that would explain her disappearance.

Tiffany's roommate reported that she left unusually early after some strange activity. The roommate, Gary Nichols recalled he heard the front door open and close several times around 5 am that morning. He took a peek out of his room figuring it was Tiffany but did not see her. When he woke up at 7 am Tiffany's Gray Toyota 4Runner was gone.

Tiffany's Gray Toyota 4Runner was recorded by a security camera on the Bob Sike's bridge that connects Pensacola and Santa Rosa island crossing the bridge three hours after she had left for work that morning. The vehicle was found along with her bike, purse and cell phone eight days after her disappearance. Residents who live in this area reported that the car had been sitting there only a few days. They also reported seeing an unidentified male around the vehicle. There were two unidentified fingerprints found on it and a search was conducted of the surrounding beach area but there was no trace of Tiffany Daniels.

Tiffany Daniels is described by her family and friends to be a free spirit. She can lift the mood of those around her simply with her presence. Tiffany enjoyed painting which eventually led to her taking a job at the Pensacola State College theater in Florida. When she was not working she took advantage of the natural and cultural attractions in the city near her job. She could often be found hiking or biking the dunes, and organizing blues and swing dance parties.

Despite the fact that Tiffany loved her life and things were going very well her parents say that by that summer of 2013 they noticed Tiffany was taking on the whole rent payment for a number of roommates who were unable to pay their share. Tiffany had finally put an ad in Craigslist for a new roommate, which Gary Nichols had answered. He was separating from his wife and wanted to be closer to his job. Tiffany's parents were a little uneasy about her sharing a space with a man more than twice her age at 54 years old. Gary Nichols was the father of one of Tiffany's friends though, and he was responsible and able to pay his share of the bills. They also shared similiar interests such as biking and diets.

The day before Tiffany disappeared she shared a goodbye breakfast with her boyfriend who had been accepted into the graduate robotics program at the University of Texas in Austin. He had wanted Tiffany to move with him but she declined. She was not ready to leave Pensacola. Tiffany's roommate recalled Tiffany being slightly depressed the rest of the day but was looking forward to a later visit to Austin. Austin is the kind of place Tiffany's friends thought she could easily adapt to.

There have been several theories why Tiffany disappeared. Her disapearence was also featured on a 2016 episode of Investigation Discovery's Disappeared. One of the haunting theories is that Tiffany is the victim of human trafficking. I intend to put up a post in the next couple of Mondays about human trafficking. It terrifies me to think what is going on with the people that are abducted and trafficked. My heart goes out to Tiffany's family and all the other families who are or could be possible victims of human trafficking.

If you have any information about Tiffany Daniels please contact the number below or your local police. Any Small detail could make a big impact on discovering where Tiffany is and what happened. 4. This is a wonderful idea and way to keep these unsolved cases in the spotlight. As a former journalist, I've reported on many similar cases and have seen the impact they have on the loved ones of the missing. It's so devastating for families not to have closer and to be left wondering. Kudos to you for taking on this project!

    15. It is so kind of you to post this to help find Tiffany. I’m sure her family appreciates it. I wish we lived in a world where human trafficking didn’t exist. It makes me so angry and sick to my stomach to think that people could do that to one another.

    19. I hope her free spirit led her to cast off her previous life and go onto adventures. But sadly, it sounds like something more criminal has occurred. Hoping for her safe return.

    24. I hate that no matter what age, people can just go missing like that! That's my worst nightmare, especially if you're a mother. I could not even imagine what her family and loved ones are going through. it's so great for you to do this!

    25. Unlike all the other posts you have about missing people, this one has less suspects and it's really such a mystery. It's like she had a plan to go away but then again we're not sure. I hope it wasn't human trafficking.
