"I'm bored" - Do you hear this a lot?

It's Spring break for most of our children. With that comes the dreaded "I'm Bored" statement. This will continue through summer vacation. Well I have compiled a list, in no order or reason, of things for children to do. You'll know which are appropriate for your youngsters. Some take 2 or 3.

Go for a walk.

Write a poem or short story.

Draw a picture.

Play Simon Says.

Go for a nice bike ride.

Make a homemade card or write a letter to an older relative or friend.

Take cards, letters, pictures, flowers to someone in the hospital - vets, elderly.

Play a board game.

Have a friend come over.

Take pictures of local nature.

Help beautify the neighborhood.
