Nancy Drew: Labyrinth of Lies Computer Game Review

We had the opportunity to review the new #31 Nancy Drew: Labyrinth Of Lies from Her Interactive. We received a sample for our honest and unbiased opinions.

It's no secret we are Nancy Drew fans, we have had Nancy Drew here at Mom To Grandma before. We love the new mysteries, and remember the classics fondly.

Nancy Drew: Labyrinth Of Lies was an excellent game, we had a lot of fun with the mystery, and the puzzles. The story line and characters were intriguing.

Nancy Drew's # 31 Labyrinth Of Lies is an epic Greek drama. Nancy Drew is hired by a museum curator to assist with a huge anticipated event of the year. Artifacts from the exhibit are mysteriously disappearing. Nancy must uncover the truth. Nancy must discover whether these mishaps are connected to an upcoming performance at the amphitheater, or is some unseen villain pulling strings behind the scenes.

Key Features of the Game Include:

  • Using Stage Craft Expertise to survive backstage. Players can sneak behind stage curtains to explore underworld stage sets.
  • Players get to experience Ancient Greece and solve actual Greek Myths and Artwork and organizing the Greek Exhibits.
  • Fill in for the museum curator and assemble the exhibits before the Grand Opening.
  • It includes using an in-game mobile phone to hear life saving tips from Frank And Joe Hardy. (Love Them Hardy Boys)
  • Player can select easy or difficult levels. Players will be able to erase mistakes without starting over.

I found both the story line and the characters intriguing. I love Greek Mythology and i really enjoyed how they incorporated it into the game. The graphics are 3D and amazing. The characters are believable, and went along with the voice dialogue very good. The puzzles were challenging, interesting and kept me thinking. I only found a couple difficult, but thanks to those hints I was fine.
