We received a sample in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. We were given the opportunity to review a Bucket of Blocks from Back to Blocks .
We had the opportunity to facilitate a
review for a pail of Basic Building
Blocks from Back To Blocks.
We try to limit the time that the kids are
watching television and playing with
electronics. Our toddler already has
an interest in a game called Temple
Run., and he often gets frustrated when
it is time to turn off the television and
have some play time. Play time is
important and I am always on the lookout
for products that help encourage the kids
to use their imaginations and be creative.
We received the Hand Made Basic Builder Wooden
Block Set from Back To Blocks. I was
excited about getting the blocks and watching
our toddler get creative with them. I remember
having blocks as a child and I loved playing
with them for hours.
The Basic Building Blocks come in a cute bright
colored storage bucket. There are 60 wooden
blocks in 10 different shapes. Their are large
and small sizes, triangles, arches, and columns.
These dimensions then come in the various sizes
and shapes. The blocks from Back To Blocks are
hand made in the USA. They made from poplar
a light, sturdy, and affordable hardwood. You
can be assured that the blocks comply with all
children's product safety regulations, and are
very safe. Their are no sharp edges or slivers.
Our toddler loves the wooden block set. He likes
fitting the shapes together and stacking them.
I like that they smelled so good when we got them.
They are sturdy, durable blocks that I am sure
after watching my toddler play with them, they will
last a very long time. I really like the Back To Blocks
storage bucket. Storing the blocks are easy for me
and the little guy. You can choose your color bucket
upon purchase of the blocks. The available colors are
red, yellow, blue or white.
The wooden blocks are a great educational toy. Young
children will learn shapes and sorting. They will develop
fine motor skills and learn basic math and science
principles. When they play with others it helps increase
social skills.
Back To Blocks is a family owned and operated business,
located in Kayville, Utah. Miriam and Craig Sheffield made
their grandson a set of wooden blocks, just as they had made
their children sets when they was young. The Sheffield's son
suggested they start making sets to sell after his own son
loved his blocks. All five of the Sheffield's children helped
in the development of Back To Blocks. After many experiments
they were ready to launch their business in 2011. They had
three key items that were important to them. Their product had
to be natural, have "make sense" packaging and be affordable.
They frequently get asked by concerned parents if their blocks
have any toxins. They say absolutely not never. They only use
safe natural hardwoods for their products.
I would recommend these blocks from Back To Blocks to other
parents. Every child should have a set of blocks.
