We received a sample in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.
We had the opportunity to receive a
Subscription Box from Kiwi Crates .
Kiwi Crates contain crafts for children.
They are designed around a fun theme.
Every box is filled with all the materials
and inspiration for hands-on projects
for children 3-7 years old. Kiwi Crate
ships via FedEx Smart Post to the
United States and Canada. The box
arrives in about a week.
The Kiwi Crate we received was their
September 2014 crate. The theme was
"castles and catapults". The box included
materials to construct and decorate your
own 'My Medieval Castle'.
My 11 year old son had a great time
helping my 3 year old grandson with
this project. He would allow Duke
(my grandson's nickname) to put together,
the pieces of the project that was
easy for him and help him with what
he could not do. Duke did very well,
after he was instructed a few times
he took it upon himself to fit a lot of it
together on his own.
The second project was "My Launching
Catapult" and that also included all the
materials and instruction to make the
catapult. This was just a little harder
than the first project. It turned out to
be awesome, and seemed to be the
boy's favorite out of the two. Then, any
excuse to launch something across the
room, without getting scolded, their loving
it!
The boys had fun with the castle as well.
They added in other toys like army men
and cars., and played for a long time.
Both projects were very easy on the messy
part. With only a little help putting a
few pieces together, the boys did most
of it on their own.
Sandra, mother of two, is CEO and founder
of Kiwi Crate. As she started to develop
creative projects with her kids, she thought
"Why not share them with friends, who are
also busy"? At play dates, the children would
have lots of fun and the parents appreciated
having all the materials and inspiration for
projects provided. Several parents had
mentioned that they wished they could do this
at home with their kids.
Kiwi Crate was created to fulfill that wish and
to celebrate kids' natural creativity and curiosity.
They want to make it fun, easy and delightful to
spend time building, exploring and creating
together. Since its inception the Kiwi Crate
team has grown. They have added creative
parents who dream up the projects, valued
experts who review them and a community
of kid testers who keep the team @ Kiwi Crate
on their toes.
The team loves working on Kiwi Crate and
they cherish the involvement that their
kids and family have in bringing the product
to life. Their excited about the opportunity
to help provide these types of experiences
for your family to share as well!
Kiwi Crates are an easy, affordable and
fun way to get your little ones creative.
