ReplyDeleteI have so many memories but one of my favorites was cooking and baking with my Mom, it was nice because it was usually just the 2 of us.

ReplyDeleteMy mom and I were pregnant at the same time for about 4 months. I moved back home during the very last of my pregnancy, we would sit and watch the OJ trial and our soaps together. We had such a good time during those months!

ReplyDeleteFondest memory with my mom was the time when she helped me, but pretty much let me do it myself, cook dinner one night. I was trying to earn a cooking badge for Girl Scouts and my mom had to convince my dad that his dinner was going to be fine. He still wasn't thrilled lol

ReplyDeleteI remeber how muxh my mom loved my boys. How she would stay up with me all night if one was sick. how she would drive 3 hours a week to stay one night with them. how you could see the love in her eyes when she looked at them.

ReplyDeleteMy fondest memory with my mother was when she was with me in the delivery room at my daughter's birth. I felt a really strong connection with her at the time (and still do). While in labor and when first meeting my child, I felt like I was finally able to understand a part of my mom that I hadn't fully understood before.

ReplyDeleteI only have a few photos from when I was a baby. I have looked at them many times and my fondest memory of one is my mom holding me all bundles up in the snow.
ReplyDeleteOne of the fondest memories I have of my mother is when I was young. I was in a spelling bee championship. I ended up placing 2nd and was heartbroken I didn't win... but she had a special little silver bracelet with a bee and my name engraved on it and gave it to me. Even though I didnt win, she had already planned ahead because she knew it meant so much to me. I still have that bracelet all these years later.

ReplyDeleteMy last memory of my mom was her calling to say she may not make till we get ther but she will try. she did... I will never forget that. I have neve packed so quickly. I never thought I would be rushing to pack for my mom's funeral at age 26. I remember out last hug, her small, the last she listened to, most all I remember her telling me she loved me and her boy (my sons and husband). Hope everyone enjoys thier mom on mothers day. Hug her and never be afraid to say what she means to you. I will be spending mine with my boys <3
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful memory I have of my Mom was when my son was born. She was so happy!!
ReplyDeleteMy fondest memory with my mother was a the trip we took together after my Dad died. We took a road trip back to the place were my parents met and we spent hours sitting on a bench as she recalled all of her favorite memories of my father.
