ReplyDeleteMine was my 21st. It was a generally great day with great friends and I very legally drove drunk, bumper cars that is. :)
ReplyDeleteMy 15th birthday, when it was my QuinceaƱera. It is a very important day for the mexican culture when a girl is considered a women. It was emotional day for me especially my father/ daughter dance. That will probably be the most memorable birthday.
ReplyDeleteMine isn't a good memory but the most memorable for sure. It was my 4th birthday and I was in a half body cast, from the waist down. Had to have it on for a year. Since there isnt much you can do in a half body cast, my parents took me to my favorite restaurant called Panchos. On your birthday you get a free piƱata. I picked a unicorn. When we got home they had a cake waiting for me. Well someone forgot candles so they got some from the neighbor. I blew out the candles and was very happy. Until I looked and saw my piƱata in flames. The neighbor didn't tell them they were trick candles and they lit back and burnt my piƱata.
ReplyDeleteHusband got drunk,, bought me weedeater :/

ReplyDeleteMy most remembered birthday was my 13th birthday. My mom and dad had acted like they didnt really care about it or that they had just simply forgotten. They told me that they were going out to celerbrate their aniversary a few days late which to me made sense since it was summer and my dad worked most days. This put me in a bad mood so when they left I went to my neighbors house to hang out and play games. later on when I got home I noticed my mom in the kitchen me being in a bad mood still I said a simple hi and went to my room I came back to the door to take my shoes off turned around and it finally registered to me my mom threw me a surprise birthday party with balloons, cake, fired chicken and all the other goodies we southerners love. This was my first real party and to this day to my favorite but she cant trick me like that anymore.
