My favorite board game growing up was Monopoly. Me and my sister used to play with my parents a lot.

ReplyDeleteI used to like to play Trouble. I was an only child, so I would play my right hand vs my left. Sad but true.
ReplyDeleteMy grandma had Bible Trivial Pursuit and we used to play it at church dinners. I have great memories of playing with my grandma and our church family.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memories are playing board games, usually Scrabble, with my daughters when they were little. I sure miss those days, but it won't be long before my granddaughter will be able to play with me. I can't wait.

ReplyDeleteMy husband loves Monopoly. He's a complete jerk playing it, he always wins and totally rubs my face in it. Until the last time we played. I beat him so bad, it was hilarious! He's still mad about it! lol

ReplyDeleteMy favorite board game growing up was Monopoly. When I got married I loved playing Scrabble with my mother-in-law. We had such wonderful times until she got dementia. It was a great time.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite board game memory involves Monopoly. It was a couple of years ago and I realized my youngest daughter was old enough to play... it's awesome playing games with my three kids all together!
ReplyDeleteI can remember playing board games with my mother and father many, many, years ago. We would play at least once or twice a week. My mother's favorite was Scrabble, because she was so good at it!!
ReplyDeleteI used to play Life, Scrabble & Yahtzee with my boys as they were growing up. When they were small I loved playing Chutes & Ladders with them.
ReplyDeleteI loved to play Monopoly with my children.... I tried to teach them logic of what decisions to make.... So of it really stuck with them.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was young, Clue was my all time favorite game. I loved finding out who did it , with what and what room.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite (and also most annoying) board game memory is definitely playing Scrabble with my mother and sister. I went first, got a BINGO, did the math, and was told that I wasn't allowed to do that and we had to start over. (Sore losers, I tell you, sore losers!)

ReplyDeleteI remember my grandmother teaching me Bunco, way back when I was about 10. She had played it for years with her friends at Bunco parties. It's not really a "board" game" but it's one that has good memories for me :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory of a board game was Battleship way back in the day. (even before they had electronic Battleship) I used to have such fun playing Battleship while sitting at the kitchen table with my grandfather. Of course, he usually let me win a few games but it was fun trying to guess where he'd placed his ships.

ReplyDeleteNew Years Eve we were playing Monopoly. My best friend got so upset she was losing she flipped the board over. It was so funny!
My favorite memory of a board game was the Mad Magazine game. I got it for Christmas 1982, I remember wanting it so bad.
