I remember playing Monopoly with my mom. The game would take hours and she would finally just give up and give me all her money, just so we could end it!
ReplyDeleteMY FAVE MEMORY OF BOARD GAMES AS A CHILD IS MY HUGE FAMILY GATHERING FOR DINNER AND AFTERWARDS A MEAN GAME OF TRIVIA PURSUIT WOULD TAKE PLACE. ADULTS WERE RUTHLESS BACK THEN ;-)
DeleteMy favorite memory of a game as a child would be so hard to pick! Both sides of my family loved games and we played them together (like the whole group) every weekend! There was Aggravation, Rummikub, Dominoes, Nerts and when we got older, Trivial Pursuit- so fun!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite board game memory is when we had a game night with some of our friends and our kids. We had homemade snacks and games. While we were playing, our great dane took it upon herself to lick the peanut butter frosting off of many and eat the rest of our brownies. It was hilarious because she managed to do it without being seen as we were all so into our games!

DeleteWe used to sit around the table and play all sorts of games, our Monopoly games lasted like three days we would leave it on the table until it was over,we were ruthless,we took one player down at a time and it was great. The banker had to be trusted and we followed the rules to the letter, cheating was not tolerated,it was fun and serious at the same time, when we played,we meant business, lol!
