I like the beauty of a freshly fallen snow. OK the shoveling is not too fun but the beauty of a walk in the snow is great.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is really just the respite from the heat that we have here in Florida. The winters are not really harsh here, we just get a chance to cool off for a while. And I do like having the chance to wear boots and jeans, instead of sandals.
ReplyDeleteI am really not sure what you are asking, but I enjoy winter here in the south, because they are not usually real bad and you can wear most anything you want.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite season is Winter I love the cold weather. I think it's because we don't get much of a Winter down here on the tip of Texas.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is getting to wear cozy sweaters! I also enjoy wearing those cozy sweaters sitting by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved the cold weather more that the hot. I like that my utility bills go down a lot in the winter.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is the cooler weather here in SC!! I love making homemade soup and snuggling in warm pj's on cold days!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is cuddling by the warm fire sledding and the beautiful white snow
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is the occasional snow we get. In my neck of the woods we usually only get 3 or 4 snows a year and usually just 3 or 4 inches at a time so we always look forward to it and enjoy it while it is here!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I'm not a big fan of winter, except for the Holidays. I do love a nice warm paid of boots though for when I have to venture out.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of winter at all, but I do think it's pretty when fresh snow is on the ground. My favorite thing is probably staying inside by the fire where it's so warm!
ReplyDeleteI live in the desert so my favorite thing about winter is that it is finally not blistering hot. However, I grew up in the MidWest and a ton of my most fond memories are in the winter. The holiday season, the crispness in the air, the pretty snow, HOT CHOCOLATE!!!! My most peaceful memory is taking a walk in the woods after a semi-heavy snowfall and the feeling of being enveloped, like the snow was a blanket that made everything hushed and calm and safe. I love how every sound is muffled when you are surrounded by snow.
ReplyDeleteWell I have to be honest here, winter is not my favorite season for sure. We always seem to get too much snow and that means shoveling. Not my favorite thing to do when you get older-
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favorite thing about winter is watching the big snowflakes fall! Well...as long as I don't have to drive anywhere! I also love that I get to watch my Nebraska Cornhuskers play football.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is the Holidays! I love Christmas and venturing out to family and friends houses here is all done on foot or by bus because parking is scarce. So good boots with traction and good lining are imperative to not getting frostbite. Last year we had over 100 inches of snow in Boston and of course my boots literally fell apart! There is only so much a boot can take after all lol I have wanted to try the Lugz boots- they look really sturdy! I would be so thrilled to win these! Merry Christmas to you and yours from us!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the holidays. I like how people smile and think about others. I enjoy shopping for my grandkids and hearing the excitement in their voice.

My favorite thing about Winter is that we do not have to mow the yard, weed the gardens & all the other work (except now we get to shovel snow)
ReplyDeleteFavorite thing about winter is being able to use our fireplace. And also being able to wear my favorite sweaters!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winyer is Ice Climbing! I really hate being cold but when the cascades freeze over, there is nothing better than getting out the ice picks and climbing to the top! I guarantee you that climbing ice keeps the cold away, haha.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is the cooler weather! I live in central Texas and it's scorching hot almost year round! At least in winter, it cools off just a little bit! I also love all the holiday baking i get to do!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of the cold weather but I love snow! I grew up in Wisconsin and every winter we had a ton of snow; it took a lot for school to be cancelled. So it surprises me that when Kentucky gets a little snow, school is cancelled. I understand that Wisconsin is more prepared but it still seems funny. Hoping for snow this year!
ReplyDeleteI like that I can leave the windows open in Texas. I also like that I don't have to shave my legs. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat i like about winter is that when it snows i can make snow angels and have a snowball fight, and also Christmas
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is staying inside and cuddling with a warm fleece blanket and a cup of hot cocoa.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is definitely the beauty of the snow, as long as I am looking at it from the warm inside, through a window! I also enjoy ice skating and most of the winter, cold weather sports! It really is a lovely time of the year!
ReplyDeleteI am not really a fan of winter, I do like to take my son snow tubing though. We always have such a good family day when we go.
ReplyDeleteI love snow. We make snowcream when the snow first falls and gorge ourselves. The snowfall is beautiful and it's so peaceful afterwards. The children and I always hope for a white Christmas. (My husband has to work in the nasty weather, so he withholds his wish.)
ReplyDeleteSince I live in Arizona, I'm happy to have slightly cooler weather. I also look forward to seeing snow on the mountains
ReplyDeleteI just love the snow on Christmas. I also love to watch the kids playing outside and being creative in the snow.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is probably just how beautiful everything is. I definitely prefer to be cold than hot too.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is sledding, snowball fights, and just having a great time playing with the kids
ReplyDeletemy favorite thing about winter is when we have a white christmas. I don't like the snow any other time but at the holidays it's nice.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is all the Holiday get togethers with friends & family spending time with them during the Holidays.
ReplyDeletemine is snow
ReplyDeleteA fresh snowfall, hot chocolate, cider and cozy nights by the fire - ideal! <3
ReplyDeleteMy favourite thing about winter would be the first snowfall... and all of the ones thereafter, lol. I love it when the snow leaves the whole all clean and white :) Hot chocolate, apple cider and all the trimmings are great, too! ^_^
ReplyDeleteNow that I'm living in an area that is not prone to snow, I have to say, I miss the snow. I miss the morning commute with the snow, where it is so peaceful and quiet and there is an aura to the world that is missing when it's no longer snowing.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about winter is just being cozy. I love to snuggle under the blankets, watch holiday movies, take hot baths, read, bake and just enjoy the slower pace!
