We received a sample in exchange for a honest an unbiased review.
We had the opportunity to facilitate a review for a bottle of wine from
Kobrand Wine and Spirts called POEMA.
The points of distinction for POEMA are
A true Brut-style Cava, made with indigenous grape varieties
Versatile with tapas and light appetizers
Made utilizing Metodo Tradicional, the same traditional method used to
craft Champagne
Made from vines a minimum of 20 years old, for greater depth of flavor
Poema carefully observes the Cava DO’s stringent regulations to craft
its top-quality, small production Cavas, made using the same
traditional method used in Champagne. The grapes are grown in the
limestone hills surrounding Barcelona on vines that are 20 years old.
A green harvest and the selection is carefully picked to help ensure
grapes are ripe and pristine. The grapes are harvested manually and
pressed in three different wineries close to the vineyards before each
lot is fermented separately. The grapes are fermented in stainless
steel tanks, the lots are then blended and second fermentation takes
place in the bottle according to Metodo Tradicional.
Poema won a gold metal in the San Francisco International Wine
Competition, and a Silver medal in the Houston Rodeo and Wine
Competition
Poema is a great example of Cava with clean, fresh, citrus, mineral and
Granny Smith apple aromas with toasted bread notes. The wine can be
paired with light tapas, and seafood.

I don't drink wine very often but when I do I want it to be special and smooth and great tasting. These wines seem to fit the bill. Since I prefer a white wine I would probably try the Feudo Maccari Grillo IGP 2015.
