Gramma In A Box Perfect Anytime

We received a sample in exchange for a honest an unbiased review.

Gramma In a Box is a monthly themed cookie and candy decorating subscription box for kids. This is a great way for grandmothers who live a long distance from their grandchildren to keep herself in their lives via these wonderful care packages of sweets that young ones get to create themselves.

We received the August subscription of Gramma In a Box Website. We have had the opportunity to unbox a couple of their monthly boxes and each time has been a new sweet surprise. The kids really have a wonderful time with this subscription box.

The theme of the August box is "Beach Party Treats". Every month children get three new projects. The projects for this box includes goldfish bowls, seashell pretzels and sealife cookies with frosting and sprinkles. Each project has easy to follow instructions.

The goldfish bowls turned out adorable. These were chocolate covered marshmallows on a stick with a goldfish cracker placed in the chocolate. It gives the appearance of a little goldfish swimming around in bowls. The kids were able to do this project with very little help.

The second project was seashell pretzels. The supplies were chocolate seashells, pretzels, white pearl sprinkles and remaining chocolate leftover from the goldfish bowls. This also was super simple for the kids.

The third and final project was sea life cookie decorating. The supplies that this project came included with were shrink-wrapped cutout cookies that are shaped like stars, fish, seashells, pink and blue sanding sugar and three colors of frosting. The frosting comes packaged in piping bags, just snip off the end of the bag and let your child go to town. None of the projects were hard at all for the kids. They love being in the kitchen and being able to help with baking cookies and other treats. You won't have to bake a single cookie though with Gramma In a Box. This makes it a lot more convenient, getting right down to all the fun stuff. The decorating supplies are always included. All I had to do was simply read the instructions.

Gramma In a Box is $20 per box or you can pre-pay for more than a month. This will save you some money. Orders need to be placed by the third of the month to receive that month's box. Boxes are shipped out at the beginning of the month.

Terry Chamberlin created Gramma In a Box. She assembles each of these well thought out subscription boxes in a kitchen in Vista, CA. She has been hard at work getting a Back to School themed box ready for September.

I really like that Gramma In a Box is fun for even the small ones, they don't need much help to have fun putting these yummy projects together. It is also affordable. You can buy one box or multiple boxes. Everything is always packaged very nicely. Its a well put together subscription box. Not only do the kids love putting their projects together they love eating them!
