Crayola Spin and Spiral Art Station a Fun Children's Gift

We received a sample in exchange for a honest an unbiased review.

We all love to spend cold winter days crafting, coloring and being creative. Especially our four-year-old, she enjoys these fun activities as well and tells us about it many times each day. I feel like Crayola designers know my child.

We had the opportunity to review Crayola Spin and Spiral Art Station from Crayola. This is two classic art activities packed into one. The Spin 'N Spiral art station lets kids design geometric marker designs and drippy spin art paint designs. They can create a combination of the designs using both activities.

Crayola's Spin and Spiral Art Station is recommended for kids 6 and older. You do not need to worry about batteries as this is powered by kids. The kit includes three spiro gears, six pip-squeaks markers, three ink bottles, 15 paper discs, one base unit and a set of instructions. This is a safe and non-toxic set for children.

It is easy for children to get how the fun begins. They can use the two together or separately. You can also use paper plates as disk refills and with any pip-squeak or super tip marker. It's easy to refill. As a refill option for the included ink bottles, you can mix Crayola's washable paint and water to the desired consistency.

This is a high-quality art set for children. It is a great idea for the coming holidays or a birthday. Our kids have hours of fun, especially on cold days spent inside.

  6. This is interesting. As a kid, back in the 70's, I loved Spirograph. This seems to be the modern version.
