Pass The Pigs from Winning Moves a Cool Stocking Stuffer or Gift

We received a sample in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

We usually add to our collection of games toward the end of the year. We like to spend cold winter days, warm inside drinking hot cocoa and playing games. These are some fun times with the kids. Thanks to Winning Moves USA we have some new fun children's games for family time.

This year I had the opportunity to review Pass The Pig from Winning Moves USA. This game is for 2 to 4 players. Instead of rolling dice, you roll these two tiny piglets. They are so cute.

This is a classic, simple game of chance that is built around a pig theme. The first player to reach 100 points or more will win the game. Roll the piglets if you get a pig out or an anchor you will pass the pigs to the next player. If you get anything out, you may decide to roll again or pass the pig.

The two piglets are weighted and have different values depending on how they land. Each player's turn involves throwing two model pigs each have a dot on one side. The player gains or loses points based on the way the pigs land. Each player's turn will last until they roll the pig in a way that wiped out their current score, wiped out their total game score, or they decide to stop their turn, add their turn score to their total score and Pass the Pigs to the next player.

There are variations to this game's rules. Hog Call is one of them. This is where a player will attempt to guess, the score their opponent is about to land. After scoring 20 points a non-throwing player may attempt a hog call. The non-throwing player must scream "sooee" before the opposing player throws. The caller will then guess the score of the next throw. If the guess is correct, the caller receives the points thrown, and the thrower loses double the points thrown. Only one player may hog call per throw.

This is such a fun and addictive game. This keeps our kids entertained all evening. It is an easy game to take on a road trip. It comes inside a small carry case, which makes taking it on the go easy.

This is an inexpensive, high-quality game from Winning Moves.
